The inmate that escaped from an Upstate jail early Wednesday morning has now been captured. As we previously reported, 22 year old Yasin Amare Razil Richardson escaped from the Union County jail just before 230 AM.

Richardson had been jailed since last September on charges of burglary and petit larceny. He was located just after 9 AM Wednesday morning near the Main Street area of Union was taken into custody.
Richardson's escape marked the 2nd such incident in Union County in the last 5 months, after Paul David Strickland escaped from there last October.
