Following a fatal shooting over Easter weekend, one Upstate family is pleading with the community to stop the violence 23 year old, Ja'Tyius Grady was shot and killed last Saturday night at the Spring Grove Apartments in Taylors. On Thursday afternoon, Upstate activist Bruce Wilson held a press conference with Grady's family, calling for an end to the senseless violence.

As we reported earlier this week, 28 year old Elex Tyrell Gregory of Greer was arrested and charged with the murder of Ja'Tyius Grady. Gregory also faces a weapons charge stemming from the incident. Both Bruce Wilson and the Grady family remain hopeful that justice for Ja'Tyius will be served in court.
