While the long road to recovery continues, things are looking up for an Upstate deputy who was shot in the line of duty, earlier this month.
As we previously reported, Corporal Lucas Watts of the Oconee County Sheriff's Office was shot in the head during a traffic stop, November 16th. The family of Corporal Watts issued an update on his condition, Thursday.
The family said that the bruising and swelling have went down and that Watts looked good on Thursday. They say they are celebrating the good days, through this difficult process. The family did thank the public for the outpouring of support.
