Federal investigators respond after Upstate explosion

Both federal and state officials are investigating after an explosion, Friday in Union County. Around 12:15 PM, deputies from the Union County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Highway 176 near Jonesville.

The Sheriff's Office says the explosion was caused by a homemade device, and one person was injured in the incident. Agents from ATF and SLED have been called into investigate the explosion.

No further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
