A fire at an Upstate apartment building resulted in heavy damage of multiple units. The fire started around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex on Tabitha Court in Anderson County. Smoke and fire were already visible when crews from the Center Rock and Centerville Fire Departments arrived.
Firefighters were on scene about 4 hours working to extinguish the blaze. Four units were heavily damaged in the fire, but no injuries were reported. The Red Cross was called in to assist the building's residents. There's been no word yet on the cause of the fire.
