Thanks to some heroics from firefighters , a woman survived an Upstate house fire , Christmas morning. Firefighters from Greenwood County and the City of Greenwood responded to a house fire, Sunday morning.

When crews arrived on scene a woman was trapped in the home. One firefighter located the woman who was already reportedly unconscious, while other firefighters kept the blaze at bay.
The fire was extinguished , the outside of the home appeared in tact, how the inside of the home suffered heavy damage. The woman and her dog were rescued from the home. She was taken to an area hospital, her injuries are said to be non-life threatening. The fire is still under investigation
