(GREENVILLE, SC) – Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have made five arrests in connection with a string of incidents involving multiple subjects shooting airsoft bb-guns at businesses, vehicles and people. Our agency, along with the Greenville City Police Department, received numerous cases involving this group of subjects firing airsoft guns from a burgundy Jeep. As a result at least one person was shot in our jurisdiction.
The investigation began on Friday, August 20th at Birds Fly South, located on Hampton Avenue Extension when deputies responded to multiple reports that left two victims windows’ damaged by an airsoft gun. The reports indicated the damage was caused by a group of subjects firing from inside of a burgundy SUV.
On Sunday, August 22nd, at around 2:00pm deputies responded to the area of 2604 Old Buncombe Road after receiving a call about a man getting shot by the same group of subjects. The victim sustained superficial injuries as a result. A short time later, deputies responded to 2415 Old Buncombe Road after receiving a report that the front glass to the “Paper Moon” business was damaged and another call about another victim’s vehicle sustaining damage.
During the course of the investigation deputies were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle at 15 Patterson Street and subsequently identified and arrested the five suspects involved. Additionally, three airsoft guns were seized during the investigation.

Julian Basil Neumann (21): Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, (4) counts of Malicious Damage
Joshua Sean Abbott (20): Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, (2) counts of Malicious Damage
Trenton Keywon Blakely (19): Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, (4) counts of Malicious Damage
Dejah Shalisa Ayanni Farrow (18): 2 counts of Malicious Damage
Derliana Garcia (19): 2 counts of Malicious Damage
All five suspects were arrested and transported to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
