A Florida man faces kidnapping and child sex crime charges in Western North Carolina. Police say, 25 year old Brendan Christopher Poole was arrested Wednesday after incidents with two different children in the Asheville area.
Poole is charged with two counts each of 1st degree kidnapping, taking indecent liberties with a child, abduction of children, assault by strangulation and one count of an attempted forcible sex offense in the 2nd degree.
Poole is being held in Buncombe County on a one million dollar bond. Investigators think their maybe other victims. Anyone with info should contact the Asheville PD at 828- 252-1110.
