
A former Clemson Football player and member of their two most recent National Title teams is dead after being shot over the weekend.
Former Tiger Receiver Diondre Overton died early Saturday morning after being shot at a house party in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Authorities there say that Overton was found at the home suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made in the case, as of the time of this report.
Overton Graduated from Clemson with a Bachelors Degree in 2019. He was a member of the 2016 and 2018 Clemson National Title Teams and had over 50 catches in his Clemson career. Diondre Overton was just 26 years old.
