A former Food Network star from the Upstate and her husband are due in court later this week. Ariel Robinson and her husband Austin Robinson both if Simpsonville are charged in the 2021 death of their three year old, foster daughter Victoria Smith.
The little girl was found unresponsive in the Robinson's Simpsonville home on January 14th of last year, she later died at the hospital. On January 19th of 2021 they were both charged in her death, that was the same day they were originally scheduled to officially adopt her.
Arrests warrants say Smith died from a series of blunt force injuries. The Robinson's are both charged with homicide by child abuse. Austin Robinson claims that Ariel had a history of abusive behavior toward the child. The couple is set to appear in a Greenville County Courtroom Thursday morning at 9AM.
