A former longtime staff member for a U.S. Senator from South Carolina has announced his run for congress.
Kevin Bishop who recently retired after serving as Communications Director for Lindsey Graham has thrown his hat in the ring for the 3rd District Congressional seat, after Congressman Jeff Duncan announced he will not seek re-election.
Bishop will contend with State Representative Stewart Jones, Sheri Biggs and three others in this summer's Republican Primary for the 3rd District seat.
