The developer best known for being the former owner of the pink church in Greenville and his beef with Congressman William Timmons, is now facing charges. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says 47 year old, Ronald Dean Rallis was arrested earlier this month for malicious property damage.
The Sheriff's Office says Rallis did damage to the hood of a vehicle and its windshield. Rallis made regional and even national news, a few years back when he bought an old church building in Greenville's Woodside Community. He then had the building painted pink and put the word "trap" on the front.
The trap church as it became known, served as what Rallis claimed was a way to call attention to his issues with 4th District Congressman William Timmons. Rallis claimed Timmons was having an affair with his estranged wife.
Timmons would not confirm or deny allegations of the affair when he was asked about it while appearing on WORD programming shortly after the Trap Church became headline news.
