A former Trump administration staffer is spearheading an effort to back Ron Desantis for a presidential run. Former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli appeared on the Charlie James Show Monday, to talk about the newly formed Super Pac that is backing Desantis.
The Never Back Down Super Pac would contribute funding to the campaign of Desantis, if he decides to run for President in 2024. State Senator Josh Kimbrell appeared with Cuccinelli on Monday, also endorsing Desantis. The full interview with both Cuccinelli and Kimbrell is below.
Desantis has not yet announced whether he will run for President. He has said he'll wait for the legislative session in Flroida to be over before announcing a decision.
