
A former Sheriff in the Upstate is headed back to prison after his petition was denied by the high court. A rehearing petition for former Greenville County Sheriff Will Lewis has been denied. The Supreme Court made the ruling on Wednesday morning.
Lewis was originally convicted in 2019 on charges of misconduct. He’s been sentenced to 6 months but could be paroled in as little as 3 months.
