
A drug trafficking organization in Western North Carolina has been dismantled and four suspects have been arrested. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office says they have been working with the DEA and other agencies on this case for the past year.
A group of traffickers calling themselves "4-4-8 Whole Lotta Weight" has been moving a large amount of fentanyl from Rutherford County. The Sheriff's Office reports that a kilo worth of fentanyl pills were obtained in the undercover operation.
Four suspects, Darrien Brown, Elijah McDowell, Jocelyn Hamilton and Ezekiel Suber have all been arrested and face drug conspiracy charges. Suber is also charged with a weapons violation.
