Four people are dead after three separate weekend crashes in the Upstate. The first crash happened Saturday when a man was hit by a car at the intersection of West Main and North Ball Streets in Clinton.
The Laurens County Coroner's Office says 71 year old, Arthur Lee Davis of Clinton died after being transported to Greenville Memorial. The 2nd fatal crash happened around 2AM Sunday morning on I-85 near mile marker 60 in Spartanburg County.
Officials say a 7 car pile up there left 49 year old Heather Padgett and her 23 year old daughter Cheyenne Padgett both from the Low Country town of Bonneau dead.
The 3rd fatal wreck happened around 3:15 Sunday morning on Highway 215 near Spring Street in Union County. The driver of a Lexus ran off the road and hit an embankment. The deceased has been identified as 32 year old, Lamarwin Kershaw of Union.
