Four people including a man wanted by the U.S. Marshals were arrested in a WNC traffic stop, Wednesday. The Spindale Police Department says officers conducted a “known risk” traffic stop, where officers do not approach the vehicle but instead call occupants out of the vehicle in a controlled manner.
A search of the vehicle uncovered over half an ounce of meth, 13 grams of fentanyl, MDMA, Psychedelic mushrooms and more than two ounces of marijuana. One of the four, Matthew Donte Young was wanted for violating his federal parole.
The driver was identified as Alec Dana Foster, of Charlotte, while the two rear passengers were Kevin Andra Hamilton of Spindale and Haley Marie Pate of Spindale. All four are facing felony frug charges.
