One of a group of inmates who escaped custody in the Pee Dee area has been apprehended.
On Monday, four inmates Anton Bennett, Kyonne McLeod, De'Shawn Fox and Emmanuel Planco all escaped from custody at the Chesterfield County jail.
Thursday morning, Emmanuel Planco was located in Richland County. Deputies there say he broken into a vehicle and led them on a chase. Stop sticks were used and Planco fled on foot. A police dog chased him into the woods, Planco was taken into custody. He was treated at the hospital for dog bites.
He faces a list of new charged from that incident. Bennett, McLeod and Fox were all still at large, as of the time of this report.
