Each year, law enforcement agencies around the U.S. can submit photos that "reflect positive community engagement" to the Department of Justice's COPS Office.

It's called "The annual Community Policing in Action Photo Contest" which, in a still-shot, highlights "moments of trust, collaboration, and connection between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve."

Approximately twelve (12) winning photos are chosen, and this year, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office was selected.

There is no cash award or other prize given for this photo contest. Just a deep appreciation for our men and women who wear a badge.
