The Fulton County, Georgia, Grand Jury investigating allegations of interference in the state's 2020 elections recommended South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham be indicted along with two former Georgia lawmakers.
The recommenations includes former GA Republican senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in addition to Graham. The Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis did not charge the lawmakers when she returned indictments last month against Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants.
Graham appeared before the special grand jury last year after a court battle over his testimony. His phone calls with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger related to the possibility of finding enough voter fraud to overturn the state's 2020 presidential returns.
Graham denies wrongdoing, disputes Raffensperger' characterization of the call, and argued that his actions should be protected by the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause.
