The girlfriend of an Upstate man has been arrested following his disappearance last week. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says Devantae Griffin was reported missing March 30th.
The Sheriff's Office says he was last seen in Spartanburg March 29th with his "on again, off again" girlfriend Jessica Strachan. Investigators say that Strachan gave them misleading information in her initial interview. She then became a person of interest in his disappearance and fled to Florida after they requested to speak with her again.
On March 31st, a search warrant was executed on Strachan's home. She was arrested in Miami, Florida last Friday on a warrant from Spartanburg County for Obstructing Justice. Devantae Griffin remains missing, the Sheriff's Office asks anyone with info on his whereabouts to call 266-4494
