Governor McMaster was in the Upstate Thursday to speak at the Automotive Summit in Greenville. He joined other speakers from various auto companies for the second day of the event.

His speech came just a week after announcing the launch of the state's official electric vehicle website. The website, SCPowersEV.Com is set to be a one stop destination to highlight the state's progress in EV manafacturing.
McMaster said at the Summit Thursday " Back in December we had an electrical vehicle conference at the same time as the National Governor’s Association and we had people all over that were fascinated by the prospect and organization that we’ve already begun to open the door of electric vehicles".
