Governor McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette visit the Upstate Monday night

A campaign event was held Monday night in the Upstate for incumbent Governor McMaster, as he seeks re-election in November. The event was presented by the Pickens County Town Hall Republican Club and 4th District Republican Club The Governor spoke in front of a crowd at the Victory Kickoff at the Historic Greer Depot. He would talk about how values set America apart from other nations. 4th District Congressman William Timmons was on hand and spoke at the event.

Lt. Governor Pamela Evette was on hand to speak at the event. She would talk about the philosophy and practices of the governor's office. Evette would go on to talk about how she and McMaster support law enforcement and have displayed a track record of doing so. She applauded the efforts of Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis.
