Governor Henry McMaster was in the Upstate Friday morning, to visit an area business. The Governor got a first hand look at operations, while on the campus of Kyocera/AVX in Fountain Inn. During his visit he spoke with the media, touting the emphasis his administration puts on the strength of businesses statewide. McMaster used a mantra saying that "In South Carolina Business is our Business".
He went on to say that the three main pillars of a successful state are education, economy and environment. He also says the three are intertwined if one is failing, the other can't function. The Governor had this to say about the current vitality and expected growth of industry in the area.
