
An area police department is looking for answers after a weekend hit and run left a pedestrian injured. Officers from the Greenville Police Department responded Saturday night to a reported hit and run on Woods Lake Road near Lowndes Hill Road.

The GPD says, the pedestrian suffered significant injuries, however there's been no update on the victim's condition. Sergeant Jonathan Bragg reports that the suspect vehicle fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The vehicle is described as a white sedan with front end and possible windshield damage. Anyone with info on the crash is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 23-Crime.
