
South Carolina has seen its highest-ever single-day spike in new COVID-19 cases.
The SCDHEC on Friday announced 2,470 new confirmed cases and 90 probable cases of COVID-19 along with 29 new confirmed deaths and 1 new probable death.
Out of 11,569 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests) the percent positive was 21.4%.
Here in the Upstate, Greenville County reported the highest number of new confirmed cases with 410 while Spartanburg reported the second highest number of new confirmed cases with 253.
