Greenville-Based "Power Collective" Awarded Settlement Funds

Community support and resources to fight against Opioid abuse

While continuing the fight against opioid substance abuse and misuse, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office has announced an enormous settlement in order to provide additional support and resources.

A Greenville based prevention coalition called "POWER Collective," was awarded nearly $562,000 in opioid settlement funds by the state Opioid recovery Fund Board, one of the first State-specific payouts.

The Power Collective, made up of four organizations, is a community initiative to combat the opioid crisis in Greenville County and includes: The Greenville County Sheriff's Office, RIZE Prevention Inc, Just Say Something and Safe Rx, which makes Locking Prescription Vials that open with a 4-digit code.
