Greenville County Schools to conduct job fair

With the start of school in Greenville County drawing ever closer, the state's largest school district is still in need of employees.

The district's Director of Media Relations Tim Waller in a Monday media release said the district would conduct another job fair Tuesday from 9AM to 12PM at Bryson Middle School in Simpsonville.

This job fair is looking to fill positions for bus drivers, bus driver aides, custodians and food service workers.

The district provided the following media release.

"We are STILL looking for great people to fill a number of great jobs with Greenville County Schools. The district needs bus drivers, bus aides, custodians and food service operators for the 2021-22 school year. Each of these jobs comes with higher starting pay and excellent benefits for those who work 30 hours per week or more!

Bus Driver        $16.57 - $20.23

Bus Aide           $12.93 - $16.07

Custodian         $12.93 - $15.04

Food Service    $12.93 - $15.04

GCS will hold a job fair at Bryson Middle School, 3657 Industrial Drive, Simpsonville, SC on Tuesday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hiring managers will be on hand to answer questions and assist in the application process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and embark on a career that is truly rewarding."
