A Greenville man is in custody on multiple charges after a weekend incident in Oconee County. 24 year old, James Morrison Holland was arrested after Oconee County Deputies responded to a home near Walhalla, just after 4:30 AM this past Saturday.
When Deputies arrived they spoke with a woman who told them that Holland assaulted her inside the home and wouldn't allow her to leave. The victim escaped the house through a window and Holland fled the scene prior to deputies arriving.
Holland was taken into custody after being located inside a vehicle that was stopped on Highway 11 near West Union. Holland is charged with kidnapping and domestic violence.
