An Upstate man is dead after falling through a roof over the weekend. The Greenville County Coroner's Office says EMS responded Sunday to Weldon Street in Greenville.
The man was injured and was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries, Tuesday. The Coroner's Office identified the victim as 56 year old, Michael Hamby of Greenville.
The man was cutting trees and doing debris clean up following Hurricane Helene. Hamby's cause of death has been determined as blunt force trauma to the head.
