An Upstate man will spend nearly the next quarter century behind bars after viciously attacking his ex-girlfriend.
The 13th Circuit Solicitors Office says 67 year old, Wyatt Earp Harper of Greenville entered guilty pleas to charged of attempted murder and 1st degree burglary.
The charges stem from an incident in November 2021 in which Harper broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in Greenville. Court evidence says Harper stabbed her multiple times and hit in her in the head.
Harper was located a short time later covered in blood and in possession of a knife. Harper has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.
