An alleged sex trafficker from Greenville is expected to appear before a judge in the Pee Dee area of the state, later this week.
26 year old Aaron T. Simmons is charged with sex trafficking three women and sex trafficking a minor. He also faces charges for interstate racketeering and obstruction of an investigation.
The indictment against Simmons claims that he used force and threats of violence to coerce the victims to engage in the sex trade. The U.S. Attorney's Office of South Carolina will prosecute the case. Simmons is set to appear at the federal courthouse in Florence on Friday.
