A popular Upstate attraction has been vandalized. The Greenville Police Department says, a significant portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail was damaged by graffiti containing racist and offensive language and images.
The graffiti runs from the Cleveland Park Area of the trail to the Julie Valentine Memorial. The police department was made aware of the damages Wednesday morning and declined to release photos of the graffiti due its obscene nature.
City of Greenville crews are working to clean u the damage and the incident remains under investigation by the Greenville PD.
