A street in Greenville has been named after a former state legislator. A portion of Bradshaw Street has been named Theo Mitchell Street.
A ceremony was held Wednesday to dedicate the street, which is near Mitchell's former law office. Mitchell served in the South Carolina State Senate for 20 years.
In 1990, Mitchell was the Democratic nominee in the governor's race.
