During the pandemic we started to see supply chain issues limit stock supplies at grocery stores. Many experts are predicting upcoming food shortages due to various reasons. We are seeing issues for European farmers due to new heavier regulations and other issues that impact the world's food supply. Inflation has certainly been part of the issue to as food costs have climbed in the last few months. Many people in the Upstate have always grown some of their own food. For my family, it's something they have always done throughout the generations. For others, they see it now as something that is necessary given the issues with food supply and the costs associated with it. Are you growing a garden due to expected food shortages?
