
A Greenville man is the latest among 19 suspects arrested in a drug round-up in another Upstate county. 42 year old, Tavis Demond Barnette of Greenville was transferred to the Oconee County Detention Center from Jasper County, Wednesday night.
Barnette is the latest of 19 suspects to be taken into custody in a drug sweep by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, which started back in late September. Barnette is charged with distribution of fentanyl and heroin.
Warrants have been issued on 26 targets in the operation. The most recent round-up included suspects from three different Upstate counties and one from North Georgia.
