The Laurens Police Department added a couple new items to their "lost and found" box.
The Laurens Police Department posted to social media, a bag of marijuana and purple fentanyl pills were found in a local business's parking lot. The post says they are "seeking to reunite" the illegals with their owner.

Although the post added some jest, the drugs are potentially deadly, especially if picked up by a child. According to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, in 2021, 1,494 drug overdose deaths involved fentanyl.
