The inmate that escaped an Upstate jail last week, is now back in custody. The Union County Sheriff's Office says, David Paul Strickland was located and apprehended over the weekend. A tip regarding his whereabouts came in around 6 PM Saturday evening that led to his arrest.
Strickland was found hiding in an abandoned house in Union County's Monarch Community. Strickland's capture came a week after he escaped from jail he's now once again behind bars in Union County.
