An investigation is underway after a bomb threat at an Upstate business. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported bomb threat at a business or Edinburgh Way near Seneca, just after 9PM Wednesday night.
The Sheriff's Office says an employee stated that someone called the business and told an employee that a bomb would be going off there in about 15 minutes.
The business was evacuated and a bomb sniffing dog was brought in. After a thorough search no credible threat was found. Deputies cleared the area about an hour after arriving on scene. The Sheriff's Office says the incident remains under investigation.
