The Sheriff's and Coroner's Offices are investigating the death of a man whose body had been set on fire in a West Greenville neighborhood. The grim discovery was made just after 11:00 PM, Sunday night.
Deputies were dispatched in response to a 9-1-1 call reporting a man on fire in front of a house at 6th Street and Woodside Avenue.
"An adult male" is the only identification so far, and Sheriff's investigators say they have no suspect at this point either. They're asking anyone with any information about the case to call CrimeStoppers, 864-23CRIME.
