Police in Anderson are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on Highway 29 near Plantation Road Wednesday morning just before noon. 23 year old, Jeremiah Lohr of Abbeville was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Anderson County Coroner's office reports, that he he had multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe Lohr had been walking along the road when he was shot. A gray or silver SUV was seen leaving the scene at high speeds and the occupants are considered to be persons of interest in the case.
