An investigation is ongoing after the shooting death of an Upstate teenager. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office was called to a local hospital concerning a shooting death, Tuesday morning.
The investigation determined that the teen was shot at a home on Spruce Street in Spartanburg and was taken to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital around 4:40AM.
The victim has been identified as 15 year old, Steven McConnell. The shooting remains under investigation. No further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
