Simpsonville Police are investigating the death of a young woman found in her apartment. Police and the Greenville County Coroner's office responded to the Jasmine Cove Apartments, just off of Harrrison Bridge Road Sunday morning.
Officers found the body of 18 year old Genesys Eliza Rice. The Coroner's Office believes she died around 11:30PM Saturday night. Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of autopsy scheduled for Monday.
Simpsonville Police are asking anyone with information regarding the death to contact investigators.
