Investigators look for answers in two decade old cold case

Investigators look for answers in two decade old cold case
Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office

Investigators are working to find answers in a cold missing persons case in the Upstate that is now over two decades old. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says Heather Sellers was last seen leaving a family member's home in 2002. She reportedly left with her boyfriend, who has since been convicted of murder in a separate case.

The following day, the boyfriend told a family member of hers that he had dropped Sellers off at a club after picking her up. Sellers was said to be working at a Waffle House near I-85 at the time of her disappearance. She reportedly never went to pick up her final two paychecks.

The former boyfriend Jonathan Vick was convicted of the 1995 murder of Dana Satterfield in Spartanburg County. He's currently serving life in prison and investigators say he will not cooperate in their investigation into the disappearance of Heather Sellers.
