Deputies are continuing to search for the suspect in an Upstate murder case. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says, 20-year-old Israel Quan'Ye Currence is wanted in connection to Wednesday night's fatal shooting at the Connecticut Village Apartments in Gaffney.
Deputies say, they found 40-year-old Prentiss Deshun Hollaway in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two men.
Currence is wanted on murder and weapons possession charges. Deputies say he's considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
