A Seneca man is in custody on charges of kidnapping and 1st degree domestic violence. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 38 year old Kerry Orlando Hollins was arrested, Thursday morning.
The investigation started Monday after a Deputy responded to a domestic violence incident. The victim arrived at Oconee Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The Sheriff's Office says a woman had been held at Hollins Apartments last weekend. She was not allowed to leave, and Hollins took her cell phone to keep her from calling for help.
Investigators say Hollins drove the victim to the hospital, dropped her off and left when security was notified of the situation. The Sheriff's Office says Hollins punched the victim and used a clothes iron to burn her, while unlawfully confining the woman at his apartment.
