Fall for Greenville Commences

Fall For Greenville has long been an Upstate institution. This year marks the 40th installment of the event. The festivities commence this evening (Thursday) with the kickoff concert. Fall For Greenville runs Thursday 5-10 PM, Friday noon-10 PM, Saturday 11AM- 9AM and Sunday noon to 7 PM. The city of Greenville says the event will go on rain or shine.

The City Of Greenville's Media Relations Director Beth Brotherton provided the info below regarding the event.

Attendees: 150,000+ over the long weekend

Vendors: 45 restaurants and food trucks

Food items: 250 options for tasting

Beer Taps: 50

Volunteers: 1,983 volunteer slots (we are still looking for volunteers!)

Musical Acts: 78 bands (playing an average 60 min set = 4,680 mins)

Stages: 6

Taste tickets: $5 per sheet

Pre-sold taste tickets: 1000+ sheets, a record for pre-sales

States where tickets were purchased: 26 (including Maine, California, Arizona and Wisconsin)

Setup: 140 Tents, 575 Chairs, 425 Tables
