A U.S. Committee is to hold a hearing tonight regarding the events that transpired at the Capitol on January 6th of last year. The committee says tonight's hearing will be used to present a timeline of events leading up to January 6th, starting with the 2020 election and extending through he aftermath of January 6th.
Committee Democrats say they plan to connect the dots between former President Trump and the events on January 6th. The hearing is also reportedly expected to highlight the involvement of the Proud Boys group in what transpired on January 6th.
Witnesses during the hearing are set to include a documentary filmmaker who was with the group up to January 6th.
