
Leaders are speaking out against violence after Saturday evening’s shooting at former President Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania campaign rally.
Several shots rang out Saturday at the former President’s event, and secret service swiftly whisked him off of the stage. Former President Trump suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Congressman William Timmons spoke after the incident on X, former twitter, offering his prayers and support to the former President.
Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressmen Tim Scott offered similar comments on social media. The gunman was killed and has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks.
