A local veteran today received a new truck through the partnering of local businesses.
Wells Fargo and Benson Nissan of Easley teamed up to sponsor the donation of a payment-free 2020 Nissan Frontier; the donation was conducted through Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Heroes program.

The truck was given to former U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Jesse Odom. According to a press release, Sgt. Odom received many military awards including a Navy Achievement Medal with Combat Valor for his service to the country.

Ashby Crow, General Manager Benson Nissan of Easley, said he is proud to be able to contribute.
"It's nice to be able to give back, especially to someone who has given so much to us," Crow said. "It's a small token really in the grand scheme of things (compared to) what he has given us."
